In order to draw attention of young Indian buyers, Datsun is ready to launch the limited edition sports avatar of their entry-level hatchback redi-GO on 29th September 2016.
The hatchback was launched in June this year, sales of the Datsun redi-GO picked up immediately after launch with the hatchback retailing 2925 units in June, 3940 units in July and 3205 units in August this year. With the Sport limited edition, the automaker is ensuring to maintain the moment, and also makes the model relevant ahead of festive season.
Mechanically, the limited edition Datsun redi-GO Sport will continue with same petrol engine. The 799cc three-cylinder engine develops 53bhp of power and 72Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
