Datsun May Soon Launch redi-GO 1.0

Datsun is reportedly going to launch redi-GO with the 1.0-litre engine that you see on the Kwid very soon.

The Datsun Redi Go, as you may previously know, is based on the CMF-A platform which it shares with the Renault Kwid. While the redi-GO and the Kwid are twins, they aren’t identical like the Terrano-Duster or Sunny-Scala.

A new 1.0-litre three cylinder engine will be powering the rediGo. This will be churning about 67bhp of power and close to 90Nm of maximum torque. This is the same engine that is used on the Kwid also. It shall be offered with a five-speed manual to start with. This engine will boost the performance of the rediGo. This will make it more powerful and fun to drive.

There shall be further additional features on offer. To begin with, there will be bluetooth connectivity, reverse parking sensors and even some more bits could be picked up from the rediGo Sport. This hatchback will also get the existing features of the rediGo.

The redi-GO 1.0 may arrive by next month (July) and the 1.0 AMT before the end of the year.
