Chevrolet has launched its premium SUV ‘Trailblazer’, a full-sized seven seater, in India for Rs. 26.40 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is available in a single variant (LTZ) with an automatic gearbox and two wheel drive.

Trailblazer is the largest SUV in its class, with 4,878mm long, 2132mm (with Mirror) wide and 1851mm (with roof rack) tall respectively. It can carry a weight of up to 2,068 kg and with a huge ground clearance of 253mm at kerb, features like hill start assist, hill-Descent control and a water wading capacity of 800mm.

Chevrolet Trailblazer is powered by 2.8-litre Duramax turbocharged diesel engine and delivers 200bhp at 3600rpm and 500Nm of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. Its fuel-efficiency is 11.45 km/l.

Trailblazer’s design, the front of the SUV sees Chevy's traditional two-part grille. The front is flanked by sharp looking projector head-lamps. In terms of exterior color options, it gets seven choices. On the other hand Interior Inside, the Trailblazer gets 3 rows of seating and a 7-inch MyLink touchscreen infotainment system with a smartphone app link.

In term of safety the Trailblazer have some amazing features like, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Hill start Assist (HSA), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Panic Brake Assist (PBA), Traction Control System (TCS) and Dual SRS Airbags.
