BMW X3 and X5 Petrol variants launched In India

German automaker BMW India has launched X3 and X5 SUVs in their petrol avatars. Both SUVs feature the latest generation Twin Power Turbo petrol engines and is locally assembled at the BMW plant in Chennai.

The X3 xDrive28i xLine is priced at Rs 54.90 lakh, while X5 xDrive35i (5 seater) can be yours at just Rs 73.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

BMW X3 is powered with 2.0 litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 245PS of power and 350Nm of torque. SUV claims to achieve 0-100kmph in just 6.5 seconds. New features of BMW X3 are Bi-xenon headlights with daytime running LEDs, LED foglights, a panorama glass roof and 2-zone climate control. In addition with the above features, it also comes with 205W, 9 speaker surround sound system and iDrive touch infotainment system with navigation.

BMW X5 is powered by 3.0 litre, six cylinder turbo-petrol engine developing 306PS of power and 400Nm of torque. It is featured with an adaptive LED headlights, powered tailgate, heated wing mirrors with integrated LED indicators and 4-zone climate control. Additonal features include iDrive touch infotainment system with a Harman Kardon 600 W, 16-speaker surround sound system.

Both, X3 and X5 get all-wheel drive with output transmitted through eight-speed automatic gearbox.
