Bentley will launch the Bentayga in India on 21th April, 2016. It is based on the VW Group’s new MLB-Evo platform for large vehicles that has already been used for Audi’s new Q7. The car is 5.14 metre long, with a wheelbase of nearly three metre and it is made up of high-quality materials like aluminum, steel and composites.
It comes with a 5,950cc twin-turbo W12 motor that develops a massive 600bhp and 91.8kgm of torque, which is paired with an eight-speed transmission and an automatic all-wheel drive system.
The Bentayga is equipped with 12 exterior ultrasonic sensors, five cameras with a composite top view, long-and short-distance radar, traffic sign recognition, night vision, head-up display and park assist which works with a trailer attached and new diamond-quilted seats with up to 22-way adjustment.
The base models for the Bentayga are expected to be priced around Rs 3.75 crore, while the well-equipped ones are likely to cost over Rs 5 crore.
