The Audi RS 7 ‘Performance’ launched at Rs 1,59,65,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), Sportback uses the same 4.0 litre TFSI bi-turbo V8 engine as standard RS 7, but bumps the power output up from 560PS to 605PS, while torque output goes up by 500Nm to 750Nm through the ‘Overboost’ torque-on-demand function.

Performance pack can push 0 to 100kph in 3.7 seconds with the top speed up to 305kmph. The powertrain is the same, an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox. The Sportback also uses Audi’s Quattro permanent all-wheel drive system that plays vital role in power/ torque distribution.

Other differences include 21-inch wheels, a few gunmetal accents outside and a ‘drive select’ button on the steering wheel to shuffle through the drive modes – Comfort, Auto, Dynamic and Individual.
