Audi, has taken the wraps off the convertible side of the R8 V10 Plus. It is called the R8 Spyder V10 Plus and it is also the most dominant convertible that the company has ever rolled out of its production floor.

Across the 0-100km/h sprint the new Spyder V10 Plus is finished in just 3.3 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds quicker than the regular Spyder. It moreover offers a top speed of 327km/h, up around 10km/h on the regular model.

From outside, the first thing which strikes you is the vertical slats in the air dams which follow on from the headlamps. In this micrommata green design package, the R8 Spyder V10 Plus looks gorgeous with carbon fibre accents all around. The front diffuser, fixed rear spoiler and the rear diffuser are made out of carbon fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP). The hood takes 20 seconds to open or close and this can be done while driving up to a speed of 50kmph.

The optional micrommata green design package in which the car has been unveiled also plays trickery inside the car. The car gets completely blacked out interiors dressed in perforated Nappa leather.

The Spyder V10 Plus will most likely come to India. Prices for this open-top Audi in Germany start from 207,500 Euros, which is roughly Rs 1.5 crore. But as per Indian price structures, if and when the Audi R8 Spyder V10 Plus comes to our shores, it will cost about Rs 3.1 crore.
