German automaker Audi has launched the facelifted version of its A3 convertible in India with a starting price of Rs 47.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It comes with a host of cosmetic updates and more fuel-efficient engine.

A3 convertible is powered by a 1.4-litre TFSI engine, which generates 150PS of power and 250Nm of torque. The engine is mated to Audi’s 7-speed S Tronic transmission. Audi claims that the cabriolet achieves an impressive fuel-efficiency of 19.2 km/l. The company has equipped A3 with Cylinder on Demand technology, which enables temporary cylinder shut-off when the engine is operating at partial load.

In features, it offers a more aggressive set of headlamps with LED daytime running lights, revised hexagonal grille, redesigned taillights and new front and rear bumper.

Inside, there is a new 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a flat instrument panel with a retractable 7-inch infotainment screen turned towards the driver. Its AC vents are designed to look different and seats get a new Milano Leather upholstery.
