Audi has launched a powerful diesel variant of its A4 sedan in India at Rs 40.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new diesel variant gets a 2.0-litre TDI 4-cylinder engine which develops 192PS of power and torque of 400Nm. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 7-speed S-Tronic gearbox. According to the manufacturer, Audi A4 diesel delivers an excellent fuel efficiency of 18.25kmpl.

In terms of looks, the Audi A4 TDI is the same as its petrol version. It features sleeker LED headlights, virtual cockpit and lots more. Dimensionally, the new Audi A4 is 25mm longer and 16mm wider than the previous-generation model, while its height has been retained. 

The new MLB platform has also contributed to an additional 12mm in the wheelbase which now measures 2,820mm.
