2017 Hyundai Verna Facelift to launch in India

Hyundai has already confirmed to introduce two new cars in the Indian market this year. One of them is the Grand i10 facelift, launched in February, while the other, next-gen Verna is likely to be launched in August.

Hyundai revealed the next-generation Verna at the 2016 Chengdu Motor Show in China. It is based on Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language and features a huge hexagonal grille similar to the Hyundai Elantra.

With the exterior completely matured and tempting over the existing model, more features will be added to be list and not mention the increased wheelbase will offer more cabin room. The new Hyundai Verna could get an i20 inspired steering wheel, updated touch screen infotainment system with GPS navigation, and redesigned instrument cluster.

It is reported to be priced somewhat higher than the outgoing Verna when entering the market apparently by mid-2017. We would predict the base level trim to start at Rs. 8.25 lakh and it may go all the up to Rs. 14 lakh for the top-of-the-range model (ex-showroom, prices).
