Introduced in 2013, the current-gen Honda City has been the leader of C-segment, thanks to the addition of i-DTEC diesel engine. Now, Honda is almost ready with a comprehensive facelift of City.
Honda City facelift takes sharp and sporty design with – sharp headlights, redesigned front and rear bumper, new tail lamps. From inside, revised dashboard is featured with a new touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Mechanically, Honda continues with existing 1.5 litre, 98bhp/200Nm, i-DTEC diesel engine and 1.5 litre, 119bhp/145Nm, i-VTEC petrol. Diesel City features 6-speed manual while petrol-powered model comes up with an option of 5-speed manual and CVT.
Honda India will launch City facelift soon in India. Its main rivals will be VW Vento, Hyundai Verna and recently updated Skoda Rapid.
