Toyota Kirolskar Motor is all set to launch new Fortuner on November 07, 2016. The vehicle has already started arriving at Toyota dealerships across India. Based on all-new platform TNGA, it's stiffer & lighter and also underpins the Innova Crysta. Further improvements have been made on fuel efficiency, performance and safety.

Mechanically, 2016 Toyota Fortuner is now available in three different Engine options, namely - 160bhp 2.4-litre GD, 177bhp 2.8-litre GD diesel engines, and 2.7-litre 4 cylinder petrol engine. All these powertrains are borrowed from the newly launched Toyota Innova Crysta. The transmission is 6-speed manual OR a 6-speed automatic.

The whole new Toyota Fortuner is comming with redesigned dual projector headlamps, DRLs and a new aggressive front. Moreover, the SUV is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, a touchscreen infotainment system and LED tail lamps. 

Dimensionally, Toyota's upcoming model measures 4,795 mm in length, 1,855 mm in width and 1,835 mm in height. The 2016 Toyota Fortuner boasts of a wheelbase of 2,745 mm having ground clearance of 225 mm and fuel tank capacity of 80L.
