The South Korean carmaker, Hyundai India has launched the new Elantra with prices starting at Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is Available in five trim levels – S, SX, SX AT, SX(O), SX(O) AT.

The new Elantra comes equipped with a new 4-cylinder, 2.0-litre petrol engine which develops 152hp of power and a peak torque of 192Nm. The diesel variant comes with 1.6-litre CRDi engine which develops 126hp of power and a peak torque of 260Nm. Transmission options for both the engines include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic unit.

Elantra comes with a touchscreen infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It is also equipped with host of convenience features like drive mode select, hands-free smart trunk, auto cruise control, keyless entry with smart key, armrest for both front and rear seats, and USB/AUX-IN/Bluetooth connectivity.
